autobook.io Pricing (2026): What It Publishes, How the Credits Add Up, and What to Ask Before Paying

Short answer

autobook.io publishes its prices on a credit system. As published on autobook.io/pricing on October 11, 2026: Pro is $99 a month or $990 a year with 450 credits and up to 100 active listings; Elite is $199 a month or $1,990 a year with 800 credits and up to 235 listings; Ultimate is $299 a month or $3,588 a year with unlimited credits and listings. Importing a car costs 2 credits, posting it 1, a description 1 and each AI image 2, so one car imported and posted is 3 credits. Top-ups are $20 for 100 credits, $45 for 250 and $80 for 500. Store plans on autobook.io/store-plans, read the same day, are $998 a month for five salespeople, $1,468 for ten and $2,437 for twenty. No long-term contracts, no free trial, no first-month discount; the $49 Starter tier is gone from the live page.

If you searched for autobook.io's price and got a "from $99" headline and a credit explainer, this is the plain-text version, every figure with its source and the date we read it. We make a competing tool and say so; the figures are quoted, not ours.

What autobook.io publishes

The pricing page is built in the browser, so a plain fetch returns a 13 KB shell whose only prices are in the structured data it ships to search engines. The figures come from the structured data the page ships to search engines ("Plans from $99/month, pay-as-you-go credits, no long-term contracts"), the FAQ under the plans, and the plan table in the page's code (assets/index-S331LhJl.js), read October 11, 2026. A separate store-plans page prices teams.

  • Pro: $99 a month or $990 a year. 450 credits, "Up to 100" active listings, priority processing queue.
  • Elite: $199 a month or $1,990 a year, marked popular. 800 credits, "Up to 235" active listings, priority ticket support.
  • Ultimate: $299 a month or $3,588 a year. "Unlimited posting & importing", advanced attribution, same-day ticket support.
  • Credits: "importing a vehicle costs 2, posting it costs 1, generating a description costs 1, and each AI image costs 2." Top-ups: 100 for $20, 250 for $45, 500 for $80. Credits "remain available until the end of your billing period" after you cancel.
  • Store plans, autobook.io/store-plans (read October 11, 2026): Store 5 is $998 a month for five salesperson seats, Store 10 is $1,468 for ten, Store 20 is $2,437 for twenty, every seat on Ultimate, "One monthly invoice for the whole store", "No contracts, cancel anytime." Per seat that is $199.60, $146.80 and $121.85; that arithmetic is ours.
  • Starter: $49 a month or $490 a year, 120 credits, "Up to 40" active listings. In the page's code, not on the live page.

Two things the page does not say. There is no trial and no cheaper first month; the plan table has an empty first-month field for every tier. The yearly toggle takes 17% off Pro and Elite but nothing off Ultimate. Each card labels its credits with a figure such as "8-12 extra sales/month"; those are the vendor's labels, not a published result.

What dealers and third parties report

We found no dealer who has posted what they actually pay autobook.io. The public record is the founder's launch thread, one competitor's comparison, autobook.io's own roundup and the Chrome Web Store listing, so this section is short.

  • DealerRefresh, the founder's launch thread (November 3, 2025): "free to join, free to use, and free to test while we're still in open beta", with a plan to stay "priced well below most of the" $140 to $500 a month tools, in his words. The vendor speaking, not a customer.
  • AutoLander's comparison page (updated September 3, 2026): "Pay-as-you-go credits (free open beta at time of writing)". A competing desktop app's note, now stale.
  • autobook.io's own roundup (updated September 26, 2026): "The $49 entry price is gone. Plans now start at $99 a month, and we expect prices to go up again over the next few months." Also: "There is no first-month discount and no free trial."
  • Chrome Web Store listing (version 4.6.71, updated September 29, 2026; read October 11, 2026): 608 users, 5.0 stars from 6 ratings, "Offers in-app purchases". It says "no subscriptions, no contracts"; the pricing page says "Your subscription gives you a monthly credit balance".
  • Chrome Web Store review by Nimit Desai (April 2, 2026): "sold a car on our 2nd day". No price mentioned.

What the price includes and what it does not

The fee buys a credit balance, so the useful number is cars per month. This arithmetic is ours, from the published credit costs.

  • Pro, 450 credits: 150 cars imported and posted bare (3 credits each), 112 with a description (4), 75 with a description and one AI image (6). The 100-listing cap binds first.
  • Elite, 800 credits: 266, 200 or 133 cars on the same cases, against a 235-listing cap. Ultimate publishes no counts.
  • Top-ups at 16 to 20 cents a credit put one import-and-post at 48 to 60 cents, a description-plus-image car at 96 cents to $1.20.
  • Store plans: five seats for $998 is $199.60 a seat, against $299 for one Ultimate seat alone. Nothing is published between one seat and five.
  • Not priced on the page: a repost of an already-imported car and a price change on a live listing.
  • Not included, per autobook.io's own roundup: a buyer inbox, CRM or AI replies ("you answer every buyer in Messenger yourself"), DMS integration, and any country but the United States.

Questions to ask before paying

  1. Which plans are on the page today, since the code carries a $49 Starter and the roundup says prices may rise again.
  2. Whether unused monthly credits roll over and whether top-up credits expire.
  3. What a repost and a price change cost in credits, and whether marking a car sold frees an active-listing slot.
  4. How many Facebook accounts one subscription posts from, whether there is anything between one seat and the five-seat Store plan, and what a sixth seat costs.
  5. Where the rep's Facebook session runs, and what happens to live listings and the credit balance if you stop paying. The account-safety guide covers why this matters.

How TurboSell prices

TurboSell lists its prices on the pricing page. Every plan is one flat price; a car costs nothing extra to import, post or describe. Free is 5 cars live at a time, no card, no end date. Seller is $9.99 your first month, then $39 a month, or $390 a year, for one salesperson. Store is $199 a month or $1,990 a year for every seller at the dealership, new hires included, with a 14-day Store trial; autobook.io's five-seat Store plan is $998 a month, as published on autobook.io/store-plans on October 11, 2026. Nothing comes off Facebook when a plan or cap changes. Inventory comes from your dealer website; each car posts under the salesperson's own Facebook login overnight on a schedule, from your browser if it is open, otherwise from TurboSell using the session you connected, spread across the night, never in a burst; prices follow your website after each inventory refresh; a sold car is marked sold on Facebook after the next inventory refresh and the listing is never deleted. The autobook.io alternative page has the side-by-side. We make a competing tool and say so; the figures are quoted, not ours.

A note on the sources

Plan prices, credits and top-ups come from autobook.io's pricing page and its code, store seats from its store-plans page, all read October 11, 2026; the no-trial statement from its roundup of September 26, 2026; one outside report and the founder's own launch thread describe an open beta now ended; the Chrome Web Store listing carries no price. Questions

How much does autobook.io cost per month?

As published on autobook.io/pricing on October 11, 2026: Pro is $99 a month or $990 a year, Elite is $199 a month or $1,990 a year, and Ultimate is $299 a month or $3,588 a year. Each plan comes with a monthly credit balance (450, 800 and unlimited) that posting, importing and descriptions spend down. Store plans for five, ten or twenty salespeople are $998, $1,468 and $2,437 a month, as published on autobook.io/store-plans the same day.

Does autobook.io have a free trial or a free plan?

No. autobook.io's own posting-tools roundup (updated September 26, 2026) states there is no free trial and no first-month discount, and the pricing page publishes no free plan. The product was free during its open beta, per the founder's DealerRefresh thread of November 3, 2025, but that offer is not on the current page.

Is there still a $49 autobook.io plan?

Not on the live page. autobook.io's roundup says on September 26, 2026 that "the $49 entry price is gone" and plans now start at $99. The pricing page's code (assets/index-S331LhJl.js, read October 11, 2026) still carries a Starter tier at $49 a month, 120 credits, up to 40 active listings, which the live page does not show.

How many credits does it take to post one car on autobook.io?

Three, as published on autobook.io/pricing on October 11, 2026: importing a vehicle costs 2 credits and posting it costs 1. A generated description is 1 more and each AI image is 2 more, so a car with a description and one AI image is 6 credits.

What does autobook.io charge for a whole sales team?

autobook.io/store-plans (read October 11, 2026) sells a 5 Salesperson Plan at $998 a month, a 10 Salesperson Plan at $1,468 and a 20 Salesperson Plan at $2,437, every seat on Ultimate, one invoice per store, no contracts. The page rounds that to $200, $147 and $122 a seat. It publishes nothing between one seat and five.

How does TurboSell's price compare?

TurboSell is free for 5 cars live with no card and no end date; Seller is $9.99 your first month, then $39 a month or $390 a year; Store is $199 a month or $1,990 a year for every seller, with a 14-day Store trial and new hires included. Every plan is one flat price; a car costs nothing extra to import, post or describe. Nothing comes off Facebook when a plan or cap changes.
