Shiftly Auto Pricing in 2026: What Dealers Report, What Shiftly Publishes, and What to Ask on the Demo

If you searched for Shiftly Auto's price and found nothing on their website, that is by design. Shiftly's site offers "personalized pricing solutions" and a "custom market quote" after you book a demo; no dollar figure appears anywhere on it. The numbers below are what dealers and competitors have reported publicly, each with its source and date, so you can see the spread before you take the call. We make a competing tool and say so; the figures are quoted, not ours.

What has been reported

  • Reddit, r/askcarsales, a salesperson asking about posting tools: "Shiftly is $129/mo + $369 to start." The same thread asks for something with "no setup fee."
  • autobook.io's comparison of posting tools (updated September 26, 2026): "Pricing is gated behind a form; third-party listings put it near $129 a month."
  • AutoLister Pro's pricing page about Shiftly (updated September 2026): "~$149/mo" and "~$447 (3 months up front, reported)", with the note that Shiftly "doesn't publish pricing. Quotes come through a scheduled demo."
  • CARVID's tool comparison (figures from August 2026 dealer reports; page last updated October 3, 2026): "$1,000/mo (dealer-reported)" and "long-term contracts", with the disclaimer that actual costs "may vary by dealership size and negotiated terms."
  • Owini's estimate (April 24, 2026): "$299–$499/month" for small stores up to "$2,000–$5,000+/month" for enterprise, plus onboarding packages of "$500–$2,000 extra". These are estimates, not reports.
  • Reddit, r/CarSalesTraining, salespeople discussing a rival tool: "after a really bad experience with shiftly" and "I hope they don't raise prices like shiftly did."

Read together: the most common figure for a single salesperson is around $129 to $149 a month with several hundred dollars collected up front, and larger stores on contracts report far more. The range is wide because Shiftly quotes per dealership and does not publish a list price, so no two reports describe the same package.

Why the spread matters

A quoted price you cannot compare is a price you will overpay. Before the demo, write down the three numbers you need: the monthly fee per salesperson, anything collected up front, and the contract length. If the rep cannot give all three in one sentence, that is your answer.

What to ask on the demo

  1. Monthly price per salesperson, and whether a second rep at the same store costs the same again.
  2. Anything due today: setup fee, onboarding fee, or months paid in advance.
  3. Contract length and what cancelling early costs.
  4. Whether the price can rise during the term, and with how much notice.
  5. Where the posting happens: from the rep's own Facebook login, or from Shiftly's servers using a saved session. The account-safety guide explains why this matters.
  6. What happens to live listings and to your login if you stop paying.

For comparison: TurboSell's published pricing

TurboSell lists its prices on the site: free for 5 live cars with no card, Seller at $39 a month per salesperson ($9.99 the first month), Store at $199 a month for every seller at the dealership, cancel anytime, no setup fee. It imports from the dealer website, writes each listing, posts under the salesperson's own Facebook login on a nightly schedule they set, and marks sold cars sold on Facebook. The Shiftly alternative page has the fuller side-by-side.

A note on the sources

Every figure above is attributed and dated. Four of the six come from companies that compete with Shiftly, including us; two come from salespeople on Reddit. None of them is Shiftly's own list price, because there isn't one. If Shiftly publishes pricing, we will update this page the same week.
